the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard offers up a profound and singular nose of loam
with juicy redcurrant fruit and a punchy lift of freshness
The tannins are going to need time to soften
austere and built-to-age finale
culminating in a stupendously long finish that offers intense minerality
Latour Martillac Blanc Size:12x750ml the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon BeckstofferThe 2014 La Tour Martillac Blanc has a fresh and quite vibrant bouquet with light red apple, fresh pear and granitic aromas. The palate is well balanced with fresh acidity, with good weight on the stem ginger, quite saline finish. This is certainly one of the better dry white Bordeaux in this vintage. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. Neal Martin
